Description	:	This watercolor won the Mary Strong Watercolor Award at a Rochester Art Club Show and is one of my personal favorites. The inspiration for this painting is from one of the last blooming Magnolia trees in Charleston, SC, in May of 2010 and seemed to flower just for me. I watched it from my breakfast table over the course of my 5-day visit open up and shine.
